Thermatech (UK) Ltd. has been incorporated by a team of experienced staff with extensive knowledge of the timber frame industry. We now employ around 20 people at our manufacturing facility in St. Austell, Cornwall, supplying timber frame & roof truss solutions throughout the Southwest of England.
We have built a client base which includes independent small builders, large developers, and county councils, we have also supplied hundreds of frames for self build projects, offering technical support throughout.

Our design and production facility has been inspected and approved by TRADA.
As TRADA members, we receive regular information updates on the latest innovations in the timber frame industry, and have a wealth of specialist information at our disposal.
On larger commercial projects, we recommend TRADA ’’Framecheck’’ for additional peace of mind.
NHBC
National House Building Council
As members of the NHBC, we are able to offer structural certificates for housing projects, and you can be assured that our standards are in excess of the requirements of building control.
Environmental policy
At Thermatech we take our environmental responsibility seriously. We endeavour to source all our bulk raw materials from managed resources, our main suppliers being members of the Forests Forever campaign. We optimise our material usage to produce the minimum amount of waste, and all combustible waste is used to heat our premises. We ensure our non-combustible materials are recycled where possible, or disposed of by reputable waste management companies.
In addition to this, we purchase our timber from suppliers who are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) which in short provides a market driven mechanism to improve forest management world wide. A Chain of Custody (COC) document verifies that products from certified forests are not getting mixed with products from uncertified forests at any point in the supply chain
Insurance
We carry five million pounds public liability insurance. Our structural engineers carry professional indemnity insurance, and we ensure all of our site operatives have their own public liability cover.
